Call for Keynote Speakers — ICODAAS 2027 Distinguished Scholars Programme

ICODAAS invites highly qualified academicians, clinicians, and researchers to apply to serve as a Keynote Speaker at the 2nd ICODAAS (31 March – 02 April 2027, Antalya, Turkiye). Successful applicants will be awarded an ICODAAS Scholarship in recognition of their academic excellence and international standing in the field of drug abuse and addiction studies.

The Programme welcomes applications from distinguished professors as well as early-career academics holding a PhD. For emerging scholars, this is an exceptional opportunity to step into the international spotlight, lead a session at a well-established international conference, and position themselves among the leading names in addiction science.

How to Apply: Keynote applications do not go through the Academics Institute Submission System. Instead, prepare a keynote proposal (maximum 250 words) describing your topic, its key contribution, and why it matters to the field, and attach your academic CV. Email both directly to Admissions@emanate.education, with the subject line: “Keynote Speaker Application - ICODAAS 2027 - [Your Name]”. Applications submitted without a CV, or without the 250-word proposal, will not be considered. There is no submission fee to apply as a Keynote Speaker.

Scholarship Award — if accepted: conference registration is fully waived and accommodation is covered by the conference. Flights and transportation remain the responsibility of the awardee.

Applications are evaluated by the Scientific Committee through peer review, based on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the conference themes. Selected speakers will be announced on the conference website.

Call for Workshop Leaders — ICODAAS 2027 Distinguished Scholars Programme

ICODAAS invites highly qualified academicians and practitioners to apply to design and lead a Workshop at the 2nd ICODAAS (31 March – 02 April 2027, Antalya, Turkiye).

How It Works:

Step 1 — Submit through the online submission system: all workshop proposals must be submitted there, not by email.

Step 2 — The Scientific Committee reviews your proposal on its academic merit and fit with the final program, and decides whether it will run as a standalone Workshop or, due to program scope and scheduling, be placed instead as a standard oral presentation. This decision is academic, not financial — it does not depend on payment.

Step 3 — Once your proposal is accepted into the program (in either format), you are asked to pay the standard registration fee to confirm your place, exactly as any other participant would.

Step 4 — If you are confirmed as a Workshop Leader, the workshop-track fee is refunded, since your session runs as a separate program item rather than a standard registration slot.

Step 5 — If your session runs as an oral presentation instead, the fee you paid simply serves as your conference registration — it is not refunded, and no separate action is needed on your part.

The Committee’s decision on format is always made first; payment only confirms your place in whichever format has already been decided.
