Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern registration, participation, and attendance at the 2nd International Conference on Drug Abuse and Addiction Studies (ICODAAS 2027), taking place 31 March – 02 April 2027 in Antalya, Turkiye. By registering for or attending ICODAAS 2027, participants agree to the terms set out below.
Registration and Payment
Registration is only confirmed once full payment has been received and processed. Registration fees and included benefits vary by category (Audience, Author, and Author/Audience Without Accommodation) as set out on the Registration page. All fees are quoted in GBP and are subject to the early, standard, and late registration periods published on the site. Payment is processed via the designated payment system; ICODAAS is not responsible for delays or errors caused by third-party payment processors.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organisers. Refund eligibility depends on the date the cancellation request is received, and processing fees may apply. Registration fees are non-transferable to future ICODAAS events but may be transferred to a substitute delegate from the same institution with prior written notice. ICODAAS reserves the right to amend this policy where required by exceptional circumstances.
Abstract Submission and Publication
All abstracts and full papers must be submitted through the official online submission system. Submissions are subject to peer review by the Scientific Committee, whose decisions on acceptance, format, and eligibility for publication are final. Acceptance of an abstract does not waive the requirement to register and pay the applicable conference fee. Authors retain copyright in their work but grant ICODAAS and its publishing partners a non-exclusive licence to publish accepted papers in the conference proceedings and/or affiliated journals.
Keynote and Workshop Applications
Applications to serve as a Keynote Speaker or Workshop Leader are reviewed separately by the Scientific Committee, in line with the specific application procedures published under the respective Keynotes and Workshops sections. Committee decisions on format and acceptance are academic in nature and are made independently of payment status.
Programme Changes
ICODAAS reserves the right to make changes to the conference programme, including speakers, sessions, workshops, dates, and venue, where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. Where possible, registered participants will be notified in advance of any material changes.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally with fellow delegates, speakers, and staff. ICODAAS reserves the right to remove any participant from the conference, without refund, for conduct that is disruptive, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
Photography, Recording, and Media
Photography, audio, and video recording may take place during conference sessions for promotional and archival purposes. By attending, participants consent to being included in such materials, which may be used by ICODAAS and its partners in future publications and marketing.
Liability
ICODAAS, its organisers, and affiliated partners are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by participants in connection with travel, accommodation, or attendance at the conference, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance.
Force Majeure
ICODAAS shall not be held responsible for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or venue unavailability. In such cases, ICODAAS may, at its discretion, postpone, relocate, or convert the conference to a virtual or hybrid format.
Data Protection
Personal information collected during registration and submission is used solely for the administration of ICODAAS 2027, including registration processing, communication, and the review of submitted work. Data will not be sold to third parties and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction in which the conference organiser is registered. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
For questions regarding these Terms and Conditions, please contact the conference organisers via the Contact page.
